Historic half-timbering, rustic interior with dishes from classic, regional, seasonal, to modern; definitely fresh, honest and absolutely recommendable! The house is located at the doctor's place, which already externally with half-timbering points culinary to home-style cuisine. Romantic and inviting. The decor does not stand out and is reflected in the appearance of historical, tradition and rustic again. When I enter a 'restaurant Neuhaus', I expect no frills, but just this. The staff I have always met friendly; that has been around for a good 10 years. To some 'critics', whose reviews I have read in these online portals, I can only say that we are all human and explicitly addressed to 'Silvia MÜLLER': If you do not like the atmosphere, then just go somewhere else! The tomato soup is definitely from own production and if you so condescendingly, outrageously rate here, then you either have no taste, or want to collect many reviews only points! The photos also say nothing at all and are absolutely superfluous! Today I visited with wife, father and two friends. Whether tomato soup, schnitzel, salad, rump steak, plaice or burger from the season menu - meat and fish with precision landing, side dishes and salads harmoniously balanced in taste! , The operation 'also not rude or slow! All I can say is, 'How to call in the forest, .....' You can contact me, who disagree! I am not a co-worker nor relative of the house!

Food was good. Unfortunately the meat was a bit overcooked. Price / performance ratio was okay!

We planned our culinary trip a day ago, specifically looking for this restaurant in Rheda. We found the prices and the food selection quite good. We wanted to celebrate our birthday there. But when we came, our expectations were totally broken. On the note with opening times it said that the restaurant was open, but the doors were closed. We knocked for a few minutes and a woman appeared in the window, who looked at us and then disappeared into the dark. After a while an employee of the restaurant came over and told us that the cook had left an hour ago because "it wasn't very busy". We should be satisfied with this excuse and disappointed looking for a restaurant next to it ... So the service is really cheeky and terrible! Definitely not recommended.
